Description: Take a journey back in time to understand the historical background of a Passover Seder. Learn what goes on a Seder plate, why Matza is eaten for Passover and the other important foods eaten at Passover. The symbolism and similarities it shares with Easter.

St Patricks Class Compliment

Hi Laura,

Kelly and I sure did enjoy your cooking class at Hollandaze Gourmet in Georgetown.
As you could tell, we are “foodies” and plan many of our travels around different cultures and their food.

The meal at Hollandaze was excellent and the company of other the other people was  delightful.
We ask Laurie to keep us advised when you plan to do another Cooking Class in the future.
We’re sure to see you again.

Bridal Show

What a great show last night.  Kindred Oaks hosted the show.  Elaine and Steve have done such a wonderful job with the venue, always adding new and beautiful touches for their client.  There was a wonderful group of vendors and many terrific Brides and Grooms.  I look forward to seeing all of you at the next show.

Irish Cooking Class

Once again Bittersweet Cakes & Catering will be giving a cooking class at Hollandaze Gourmet in Georgetown.
This time it will be on St. Patricks Day.¬† so come one and come all, wear something green and let’s get cooking!
And if you have a lucky leprachaun, bring him too.  The feast will be grand:

I have traveled all over the world, ¬†lived in Europe and the Middle East. It was during these times abroad that I became interested in various cuisines and desserts. I started to experiment with tastes, spices, and presentation and my career in food began. Over the past 16 years I have catered events ranging in size from 6 to 400 people. No event is too large or too small‚ÄďI enjoying working with everyone‚Äďand all receive my personal attention and care.

Watching people discover the world through food has been very exciting.  My clients continually challenge me to develop new dishes for their unique events, which has given me alot of  joy over the years.   I look forward to meeting you  helping you plan an event  that you will remember for a lifetim
